Back in November, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a classic Hollywood night out on the town: they attended the Baby2Baby gala to support their good friend, Serena Williams, and then headed over to Jeff Bezos’ mansion to join in the festivities for Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party. Photos from the event show the couple having a great time with Hollywood’s royalty, until those same photos disappeared from social media.
Both Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian had posted photos with the Sussexes, but internet sleuths quickly realized that both reality stars quietly deleted their photos featuring Harry and Meghan, and rumors began to swirl around why the Kar-Jenners made this move. However, on last week’s episode of Khloé in Wonderland, Kim revealed to her sister the real reason behind the sneaky move. Keep reading for more information.

Kim Kardashian Reveals Why She Took Down Photos With Meghan Markle
Speaking to her sister, Khloé Kardashian, Kim Kardashian dished on the drama behind the deleted photos. "It was really innocent, which is so crazy," she explained. "Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now, and they have a really sweet relationship. We were told that it was totally cool to post."
"After it was posted, I think they realized it was Remembrance Day," she continued. "And they didn't want to be seen at the party, even though it's already up, you know, and then taken down. And then I think they realized, like, 'Oh, this was so silly.' So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day."
However, some parts of Kim's story are not clicking with fans. In the photos of Prince Harry's he's clearly wearing a small red poppy on the lapel of his tuxedo, a nod to Remembrance Day, so they couldn't have just remembered.

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, royal fans were quick to call out the holes in Kim's story. "They forgot about Remembrance Day!?" one person wrote on TikTok. "He wore a poppy. He didn't forget."
"They've always been tone deaf," another person wrote.
"I love how she attempts to clear things up but the clear up does make them look bad to people who really think badly of them already," one comment reads. "They should've just left it at letting everyone assume there is bad blood for some reason instead of airing that they realized it was Remembrance Day and didn't want people thinking they were out partying...when they were out at a party!"
"Kim confirms M&H are as phony as we all knew they are," wrote a fourth person.
"Harry served in the military," the next person pointed out. "Yeah, he should've known better."
