Aubrey made it clear that she once thought the 48-year-old was her "soulmate," saying: "I know he was, and he knows I was." However, she also explained that she believes he has changed dramatically over the years – and not for the better!
"We're talking like soulmate vs. the darkest, most disgusting human being on Earth," she explained, making it pretty clear how she feels about him today!

When Newsom's picture came up during the interview, Aubrey had a very different reaction, enthusiastically declaring: "Gavin Newsom, love him." Wow!
She went on to praise the California governor and his wife, before making a surprising confession about her romantic past. "I wish I had been with Gavin over Don Trump Jr.," she admitted, before adding: "I wish I had smashed."
She also brought up Newsom's ex-wife, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who later went on to date and become engaged to Donald Trump Jr. Talk about a complicated connection!
What Else Has Aubrey Said About Donald Trump Jr.?
This isn't the first time Aubrey has opened up about her relationship with Don Jr. Although reports of their affair first emerged in 2018, she only publicly referred to him as her ex for the first time during an appearance on MTV's Ex on the Beach in 2019.
When reports of their affair first surfaced in 2018, a source told Us Weekly at the time that Don Jr. had told Aubrey he and Vanessa were separated. The insider claimed: "Aubrey fell for him hard. She thought they were going to be together for real."
Aubrey also spoke about their connection in an interview with People in 2019, once again referring to them as soulmates. "We both thought we were each other's soulmates. It's something we spoke about often," she said, adding that she believed a soulmate was someone you could share a particularly deep connection with, even if the relationship didn't last forever.
At the time, she also suggested that the man Don Jr. had become was very different from the person she had fallen in love with, which echoed what she said in her latest interview too. She said at the time: "I think he closed the chapter when he went the direction that he did. He's chosen to be in the life that he's in now and be the person that he is now, and that's not the person that I fell in love with."
