President Donald Trump has reportedly given one of his closest aides, Natalie Harp, a dedicated workspace inside his private dining room at the White House, marking another development in the scrutiny surrounding her unusually close relationship with the president. This comes months after leaked letters Harp allegedly wrote to Trump drew attention for their deeply personal language and reportedly raised concerns among members of the Secret Service. Keep reading for more information.

Donald Trump Gives Natalie Harp Her Own Office
According to a report by The New York Times, Natalie Harp, 35, has moved from her usual desk outside the Oval Office into President Trump's private dining room, where she now has a designated area to work. The room, located just steps from the Oval Office, is where Trump typically watches television, makes phone calls and reviews printed news articles and other documents. Much of the space is reportedly already occupied by stacks of papers, with a spot now cleared for Harp to work whenever she is not nearby Trump.
The arrangement is an unusual level of access for a presidential aide, particularly given that the private dining room is part of the president's personal White House quarters rather than a standard staff office. Harp's new workspace places her even closer to Trump as he increasingly relies on a small circle of trusted aides, with the Times describing him as becoming more cloistered with those closest to him.

Natalie Harp's Leaked Letters To Trump
Harp has made headlines recently after letters she wrote to Trump were leaked by The Daily Beast. The letters, from a trip to Scotland and Ireland in 2023, took a more personal turn than what you might expect from a White House aide to the president, with Harp writing, "I want things to always be right between us" and "You are all that matters to me. I don’t want to ever let you down." She also thanked Trump for being her "Guardian and Protector in this Life" before signing off, “With all my heart, Natalie.”
In another letter, Harp reflected on the trip and described feeling overwhelmed by the demands of her job, including her responsibilities as Trump's so-called "Human Printer," a nickname reportedly tied to her habit of printing out information for him. She admitted that she had been "rapidly approaching burnout" and even confessed to envying women whose only job seemed to be to "talk with you and look pretty," adding, "I want that job!!"
Harp also expressed a desire to return to the days when she and Trump would speak about things beyond work, writing, "We shouldn’t have to talk about work all the time!!" Toward the end of the letter, she asked Trump to correct her when she made mistakes, telling him, "You have the absolute right to cuss me out, if need be, when I deserve it, because no one knows or cares about me more."
