Ivanka Trump made a surprise appearance alongside her father, President Donald Trump, and his granddaughter Kai Trump at the College Football Playoff national championship game on Monday night at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
While many attendees opted for sporty game-day looks, the first daughter stayed true to her signature polished style. She wore a sleek black turtleneck dress cinched with a belt and accessorized with dark sunglasses and a silver watch. Her blonde hair was worn down as she watched the game from seats positioned behind glass dividers.

Standing beside his daughter, President Trump drew loud cheers from the crowd at Hard Rock Stadium as he waved during “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Kai— the daughter of the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.—was also by his side and was seen with her left arm in a sling.
Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, attended the game as well, along with their two sons, Joseph Frederick and Theo James. Kai’s mother, Vanessa Trump, who is currently dating Tiger Woods, was also present.
Many fans online expressed excitement at seeing the Trump family at the game and were pleased to see the president and his family receive a warm welcome from the crowd.

A second wrote, “I was happy to see that they cheered for him.” A third commented, “And when the crowd seen him there was clapping and cheering it was amazing to hear !!!!!” A fourth noted, “And of course, the crowd was absolutely screaming.” A fifth quipped, “Ivanka and Kai look so proud of him.” Someone else mentioned, “Stadium was rocking..the cheers amazing.”

Ivanka Trump Reveals How She Will Support Her Father During His 2nd Term
That wasn’t all. The event turned into a full family gathering, with Lara Trump, the wife of the president’s second son Eric, and their children, Carolina and Luke, reportedly in attendance. At one point, President Trump was also seen chatting with UFC CEO Dana White.
Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka have attended several major sporting events together. At the US Open Men’s Singles Final on September 7, 2025, the pair were in New York City for the championship match, joined by Ivanka’s daughter, Arabella, and her husband, Jared.
Earlier that year, on February 9, 2025, Ivanka attended Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, watching the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles alongside her father and brother, Eric Trump.
Unlike her role during her father’s first term, Ivanka made it clear early on that she did not want to hold any political position during her dad's second term.
On the Skinny Confidential’s Him & Her Show podcast in January 2025, she explained her focus on family support: "I think I’m most looking forward to just being able to show up for him as a daughter and be there for him to take his mind off things, to watch a movie with him, or watch a sports game," she said.
"To know that he can be with me, and be himself and just relax and for me to be able to provide that for him in a very loving way as his daughter."
"It’s the world’s loneliest position — the enormity of the decisions you’re making on a daily basis, how transactional everyone is with you," she stated.
