The public has regarded Amal Clooney as a very beautiful woman and activist for years, and while many may argue that she doesn’t need a filter, one publication might’ve thought she does.
An Instagram post shared by Vogue is receiving backlash after sharing a new picture of the lawyer at the 2025 Prix Suisse that was seemingly edited with a filter. The single photo caught the attention of numerous internet users, who couldn’t understand why the publication’s social media account would allegedly edit the image so heavily, and called them out in the comments. Amal Clooney Attends The 2025 Prix Suisse Event In Switzerland
Earlier this month, the human rights activist attended this year's Prix Suisse event in Switzerland, where she was interviewed and spoke about issues she's passionate about, like her work and goals with the Clooney Foundation, freedom of the press, and more.
Amal is known for attending many events like this, speaking on social justice and the work she hopes to see done in the world. For her appearance at the Switzerland event, she wore an eye-catching, sleeveless red jumpsuit made from a satin material. It was a moment of fashion recycling for the attorney, as reporters and fashion enthusiasts noticed it was the same jumpsuit she had worn to Meghan Markle's baby shower six years ago.
After her appearance at the event, numerous fashion and news outlets shared photos of the mom-of-two up on stage, including Vogue, which later faced allegations of altering her face.

The Internet Slams' Vogue' For Allegedly Putting A Filter On Pictures Of Amal Clooney
While it's unusual for a publication of such a high caliber to put a filter on a celebrity's face to improve their appearance, some fans of the 47-year-old lawyer feel that might've happened in one of the fashion publication's recent Instagram posts.
The magazine shared two images of Amal at the event on Instagram, which can be seen here, that included one up-close shot of her speaking into a microphone, and another of her sitting on stage looking at someone in the audience. Not long after the pictures were uploaded, some users and fans of Amal's began commenting on how it looked as though the publication added some kind of smoothing or 'healing' filter over her face before sharing them.
"Did Vogue just Facetune Amal Clooney?" asked a user, referring to the popular editing app.
"Why did you Facetune her?" added another.
"Please don't filter this stunning individual," commented a fan. "Her brilliance is the focus."
"Someone at Vogue currently is very bad at Photoshop," wrote a user.
Although it's not officially confirmed if the publication's social media or photography department did indeed edit the pictures of Amal, as of right now, internet users are certainly heated by the notion of it.
