The 60-year-old Oscar-nominated actress looked almost unrecognizable in a blonde bob wig with bangs and an edgy black leather jacket as she channeled her longtime friend Penélope Cruz’s character from The Invite. She completed the look with a black shirt and jeans.

The Frida alum debuted the look at Vas J. Morgan and Michael Braun's star-studded "Hockey Horror" Halloween party in Los Angeles on October 31st, where fellow A-listers including Paris Hilton, Jessica Alba, Machine Gun Kelly, Lizzo, Camila Cabello, and Emma Roberts were also in attendance. A member of her glam squad then shared pictures of her transformation on Instagram on November 1st.
Makeup artist Pablo Macías shared two pictures of the House of Gucci actress sporting defined eyeliner and glossy, plump-looking lips, while also crediting hairstylist Eduardo Ponce for the hair transformation.
The Halloween costume was a tribute to Penélope's character Piña, an enigmatic neighbor and relationship therapist in the comedy The Invite, which also stars Olivia Wilde, Seth Rogen, and Edward Norton.

On November 2nd, the Magic Mike's Last Dance star shared her own pictures from Halloween, giving fans another glimpse at her transformation. In the caption of the post, which also showed off some of the other guests' costumes, Salma also reflected on celebrating both Halloween and the Mexican holiday Día de Muertos…
"After so many years of living between cultures, I've learned that I can embrace new traditions without letting go of the ones that shaped me," the caption began. "Halloween lets me play, dress up, and become someone else for a night this year, my beloved @Penelopecruzoficial but Día de Muertos always brings me back home."
