Taylor Swift Makes Surprise Appearance At 'Toy Story 5' Premiere
The Eras Tour star has been taking a break from any major projects over the last several months, coming off her extended, worldwide tour, and reportedly planning her upcoming wedding to football star Travis Kelce.
However, she did please fans when she released a new single, "I Knew It, I Knew You," which she specially wrote for the upcoming Disney-Pixar movie, Toy Story 5, the latest installment of the popular franchise. When announcing the song on Instagram, she wrote, "I always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I've adored since I was a 5-year-old kid watching the first Toy Story movie."
Last night, during a premiere of the animated film in Los Angeles, Taylor not only posed on the red carpet, but surprised the crowd when she took the stage to sing "I Knew It, I Knew You." Moments later, she joined famous singer Randy Newman to sing "You've Got A Friend In Me," his legendary track for the first film, as a duet.

"Why am I crying?!" asked not one, but several fans on Instagram.
"Why is this making me so emotional?!" asked another.
"I'm so beguiled by this entire performance," added an adoring fan. "The nostalgia and then Taylor's soft, warm vocals...The collab we didn't know we needed."
"Taylor and Randy Newman singing together was never something I thought would happen," wrote another. "This is beautiful!"
We'll be curious to see if the Grammy-winner appears at any future events for Toy Story 5, which hits theaters on June 19th, but for now, fans are going to be cherishing this for a long while.
