Christina Aguilera’s changing appearance has sparked discussion online after a viral video by Dr. Jen Armstrong examined the singer’s facial features and suggested she may have undergone several cosmetic procedures.
In a recent episode of her celebrity review series, Dr. Armstrong compared a photo of Aguilera from the 2025 Grammy Awards with a more recent image of her at an event. As she analyzed the two pictures, the doctor pointed to several subtle differences that she believes may have contributed to Aguilera’s noticeably different appearance.
“It’s all like little millimeters of the change of her face,” Dr. Armstrong explained, noting that small adjustments can add up to create a significant overall difference.

She added that cosmetic procedures are often intended to produce subtle changes that work together harmoniously. However, in Aguilera’s case, Armstrong suggested that the combination of possible changes had made the singer look less like herself.
Starting with the 45-year-old's forehead and eyebrows, Dr. Armstrong said she noticed relatively few differences, although she thought the tail of the singer’s eyebrow appeared to slope downward more in the earlier photo.
She then focused on the singer’s eyes, suggesting that the upper eyelid area appeared more hollow in the recent picture. While Aguilera’s nose shape seemed largely unchanged to her, Armstrong thought the tip looked thinner in the newer image.
The doctor also observed what she described as less facial volume in the recent photo, suggesting that weight loss or the dissolution of filler could potentially explain some of the difference.
However, Armstrong said she believed Aguilera’s lower face and eyes were the most noticeable areas of change. “Her lips are clearly bigger in the after picture,” she said, adding that the singer’s chin appeared slightly longer and rounder.
Armstrong also described the lower part of Aguilera’s face as looking unusually tight.
Based on her comparison, the doctor shared her opinion that the "Dirrty" hitmaker may have undergone a facelift, an upper blepharoplasty — a surgical procedure involving the upper eyelids — and filler injections.
“That is what my diagnosis is,” Armstrong said.
She also suggested that Aguilera may have undergone laser skin treatments, pointing to what she described as the tight appearance of her skin.
