Melania Trump’s early modeling photos are making the rounds online once again, with fans revisiting the images and commenting on how different she looks today.
In an Instagram post, a young Melania from the ’80s appeared fresh-faced as she posed for a series of black-and-white photos. One close-up showed her smiling widely while wearing dark lipstick, while another featured her in a bandeau top and tiered white midi skirt, accessorized with a headband as she played with her hair.
Another throwback image showed the mom of one sporting a dramatically different hairstyle, with her hair pulled into an extremely high ponytail — a stark contrast to the hairstyles she has worn in more recent years.

The photos quickly sparked discussion online, with some social-media users speculating about whether cosmetic procedures could explain some of the differences they see in her appearance.
“So much ‘work’ done,” one person commented on Instagram.
“After many plastic surgery procedures,” another wrote.
“It’s called plastic surgery… are you blind? Or just naive?” a third person bluntly said.
Of course, comparing decades-old modeling photos with someone's current appearance can be difficult, as hairstyles, makeup, photography, styling and the natural aging process can all contribute to changes in how a person looks.
Melania Shuts Down Plastic Surgery Rumors
The First Lady has previously discussed her modeling career and has pushed back against scrutiny surrounding her appearance. She has also publicly addressed plastic-surgery speculation in the past, saying she prefers to age naturally.
In a 2016 interview with GQ, she pushed back against speculation that she had undergone cosmetic surgery, including rumors that she had breast implants.
“I didn’t make any changes,” she said at the time, adding that she believed her appearance was the result of taking care of herself.
“I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body,” she said.
She also denied using Botox or facial injections, telling the outlet, “I’m against Botox; I’m against injections; I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves.”
“It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does,” she added.
