Though the pair used to be a buzzing, exciting couple, scandalous incidents they’ve been part of over the years have led to a lot of public scrutiny, which social media users continued to bring up after her interview. Mila Kunis Says She Had 'Trust Issues' When She Began Dating Ashton Kutcher
There are a whole lot of celebrity couples roaming around right now, and years ago, one of the most popular ones was the two former That 70s Show co-stars, who, years after ending the popular television series, fell in love and got married.
By the time 2014 and 2015 rolled around, the couple became parents and got married, exciting fans about their 'co-stars to lovers' timeline. Though they remained a funny, popular couple in the eyes of the public for a while, they entered a series of scandals, from defending a controversial cast member to Ashton's personal friendship with the disgraced and convicted rapper, Diddy Combs, being uncovered.
Through it all, Mila and Ashton stayed together, and recently, while being interviewed on The Drew Barrymore Show last week, she opened up about their early days, even surprisingly admitting to being unsure of her partner at first.
"We both had trust issues," she admitted. "Not because something happened that scarred us or anything. Just the idea of someone taking advantage of the situation was my biggest fear, but it was also his biggest fear, and so when the two connect, you're like, 'Oh, neither one of us is going to do it, because we both had the same amount to lose.'"

Social Media Users React To Mila's 'Trust Issue' Comments
After the Black Swan performer's interview with Drew aired, the talk show's social media team shared a clip of her talking about her "trust issues" on its platforms, and it didn't take long for it to go viral.
As mentioned above, the couple of 14 years has faced their fair share of backlash over the last handful of years. A lot of it started when they wrote an open letter defending their That 70s Show co-star, Danny Masterson, praising him as a good man before he was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for assaulting women.
Then, things progressed when the crimes were carried out by the infamous music producer, Diddy, with whom Ashton happened to be friends. After seeing evidence that he was at many of the rapper's scandalous parties, many fans and other members of the public began turning against him, and subsequently, he and Mila as a couple. Therefore, it's not much of a surprise that her comments on their early days of dating garnered some attention.
"Yeah, I'd have trust issues if my husband was tight with Diddy," commented an Instagram user.
"No one should be trusting Ashton [because] he was at P Diddy's parties," responded another. "Drew should be asking about that!"
"I'm not surprised," added a user.
