King Charles and Prince William are allegedly in the thick of a disagreement as to whether or not they should financially support Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, following his arrest.
An inside source recently claimed that the disgraced prince’s ex has reached out to the monarchy for financial assistance that would keep her afloat following his bombshell arrest earlier this year. Though the king is reportedly considering making a compromise and giving her a select amount of support, his son is in a totally different boat. Read more about their reported feud over the matter below.

King Charles Is Reportedly Considering Giving Financial Support To Sarah Ferguson
One of the biggest incidents to hit the royal family so far this year has certainly been the scandalous arrest of the ex-Prince Andrew that happened in February. Now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the 66-year-old was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, following years of serious and horrific accusations made based on his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Since then, his royal titles were dropped, he was evicted from his Royal Lodge, and he has become an almost shunned member of the monarchy. Many have also been wondering what this means for the future of his two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and his famous ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. Not long after reporters claimed 'Fergie' was practically homeless and crashing with friends, another is claiming that things are looking pretty dire for her. A royal insider recently reported that Sarah was asking for financial support from her former brother-in-law, King Charles, and in exchange, promised not to release a tell-all memoir.
"Naturally, there is interest in what she might choose to say publicly in the future," the source told RadarOnline. The source also noted that Charles would rather maintain a "cordial" relationship with her and "believes stability is best achieved through compromise."

Prince William Is Ready To 'War' With Charles Over Sending Sarah Money
Though the 77-year-old is apparently okay with the idea of sending the TV personality some funds to keep her afloat as well as keep her from exposing any additional royal family drama or secrets in a new memoir, his eldest son is reportedly in opposition.
According to the above inside source, Prince William is discouraging his father from making an "arrangement that appears to reward silence." Not only that, but he's so firm in his stance that it's getting to the point where he's willing to battle his father into not giving his aunt any money.
"[William] is ready to go to war with Charles over his stance of not giving Sarah a penny as he sees it as a bribe to buy her silence that could backfire on the monarchy long-term, especially as she is a loose cannon who could take the money and then decide to go rogue anyway," the insider added.
We'll be curious to see if we get an update on this situation, and, of course, whether or not that big memoir ever comes out.
