The upcoming eighth season of The Kardashians seems to have a lot of drama jam-packed into it, once again following Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, and Kris Jenner as they navigate their personal lives, relationships, and careers. The Season 8 trailer, which came out last week, teases plenty of family tension and personal revelations, with the show set to return to Hulu on October 8th.
In one particularly concerning moment, the SKIMS founder reveals that she has been diagnosed with esophagitis. According to health experts, the condition involves inflammation or irritation of the tissue lining the esophagus, the tube that carries food and liquid from the mouth to the stomach, and can cause symptoms including painful or difficult swallowing and chest pain.
"I have esophagitis," Kim can be heard saying in the trailer, as people in the background ask, "Didn't your father... isn't it what he died of?"
The trailer does not reveal what caused the mom-of-four's condition, but in a few clips, she is seen lying in a hospital bed and appearing to receive medical care.
