Jelly Roll Reveals He's Gained Weight In A New Video
The "Save Me" singer has been on a roll lately, attending some of today's biggest award shows, going on tour, becoming a judge on a television show, and more. He's also been on a roll with his weight loss transformation.
Over the last three years, Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, has been working on getting healthier, wanting to lose some excess pounds for the sake of his well-being, family, and career. Though some celebrities can be rather private about their body transformations, Jason has been wowing fans by documenting the journey through vlogs, social media posts, and interviews.
Fresh off a Men's Health cover, the dad-of-two recently reminded the world that natural weight loss transformations don't always happen easily or without bumps in the road via a new vlog on YouTube. He revealed that he had been "avoiding" weighing himself for a few weeks after "enjoying the holidays."
"I had a big Thanksgiving meal, I had a big birthday meal, I ate a big Christmas meal," he explained. "Kinda got off the rails and I broke my collarbone...a few days before Christmas."
After talking about being "scared" to weigh in, on camera, the singer discovered he had gained 12 pounds.

Jelly Roll Admits To Feeling 'Fat' & Shares New Goals
Most people who have lost a large amount of weight or have spent many years on a weight loss journey know just how frustrating it can be when you see extra pounds on the scale that weren't there previously.
Jason told his viewers, "I feel really fat, I feel really bloated, I feel like the scales are going to let me down."
Still, despite his disappointment and the extra bit of weight he had gained back, he decided to keep a positive attitude and get back to working on himself. He mentioned new goals, like wanting to run the New York City marathon, and even posing with his shirt off.
"I've never run a marathon or thought about running a marathon," he added. "I know it’s getting real silly now, but I just believe there's a story that a guy can go from 560 lbs. to a shirt off picture, it’s absurd."
In the comments section of his YouTube vlog, fans and other viewers continued showing support for the "Son of a Sinner" vocalist, cheering him on despite his setback.
"Don't let a little gained weight stop you from achieving your goals," wrote a YouTube user. "You have come so far, and you're not a quitter."
"You're looking awesome!" added another. "Keep up the healthy living! So proud of you!"
