Donald Trump Speaks At The World Economic Forum With Discolored Hands
If you've been keeping up with some of the many headlines coming out daily about the current president, then you've likely been seeing articles and posts about his health, more specifically, the bruising on his hands.
Towards the end of January, President Trump attended the World Economic Forum alongside other world leaders and prominent figures in Davos, Switzerland. On one of the days there, he spoke at and held a ceremony event for his 'Board of Peace' plan, which he produced to reportedly help resolve conflict in the Gaza Strip. The ceremony was controversial, and therefore, wasn't attended by many other leaders, but it was still highly publicised, and photographers captured him speaking and walking around on stage.
In some of the photographs, the 79-year-old could be seen with discolored hands that had some bruising on them, an issue that has been brought up several times in the past months, since he first started walking out with both bruises and patches of makeup on. In one photo from the event, shared by Getty, the President can be seen with his skin a slightly more yellow color and a large, purple bruise on his hand. You can see the photo here.
Social Media Reacts To The Photos Of The President's Hand & Discoloration
Once the photos from the Board of Peace ceremony were shared on social media platforms, numerous internet users had a frenzy and began commenting on them, as his hand's bruising was perhaps the most intense it had ever looked.
Over the last few months, the president's press team and medical team have released statements that he has "chronic venous insufficiency," and has also been bruising his hands due to an excess of aspirin he needs to take and the excessive handshaking he does throughout the day. In addition, he's also cited that hitting his hand against desks and hard surfaces can cause bruising.
Despite their explanations, the internet remains suspicious that his health is not in decent enough shape, especially after seeing the photos of his discolored skin in Davos.
"He's 3 different colors," wrote an X user. "Does this look healthy at all to you?"
"His face is a different shade every single day," responded another, as one user wrote he "looks like a melting wax figure."
