At just 13 years old, North West is already stepping into the spotlight as she takes on the stage for her first solo concert. Performing alone for the very first time at the Vic Theatre in Chicago on Saturday, September 5, North had full support from both her parents. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were both in attendance, though they kept their distance from one another, as their co-parenting relationship has been rather tense. Keep reading for more information.

Kim & Kanye Keep Their Distance At North's Concert
Kim and Kanye proudly watched their daughter from separate sections of the Vic Theatre as she performed several songs from her "N0rth4evr" debut album, and according to reports from attendees, even sang a few unreleased tracks. For the performance, she wore a white mini dress featuring multiple belts across the bodice, which flowed into a ruffled, tiered mini skirt.
As she sang and danced on stage, Kim and Kanye watched on from what looks like opposing balcony seats. Kim was seen recording North's performance in several instances, and even took to her Instagram Stories to share videos of the sold-out crowd. Kanye and his crew watched on from the opposite side of the theatre. No reports of the former couple interacting were released.

Kanye West Threatens To Sue Kim Kardashian
North West has stepped into teenager-hood with a bang, debuting body piercings, electric blue hair, fake tattoos, and overall adult look. West has been very public with his thoughts on the matter, and though he's made his views public, he is reportedly planning on dealing with his ex-wife in private.
According to Poprant, West thinks his daughter's look is "too adult," leading her to being "sexualized" at a young age. Allegedly, he sent Kim several furious texts warning her of legal action for allowing and even encouraging North's look. The same reports claim that Kim has consciously and repeatedly chosen to ignore the threats and continues to support North.

Kanye West Thinks North Dresses 'Too Grown'
This report comes not too long after a particularly heated Instagram Live rant from the rapper. Kanye opened his Instagram Live by saying he was "tired of pretending everything is fine" and needed to address Kim Kardashian "as a co-parent, not as an ex."
"You refuse to settle down," he said. "You’re still living like the cameras are the most important thing in the house. The kids need a home that feels like a home, not another set. You’re always moving, always filming, always building the next thing. That’s not settling. That’s running."
"You depend on nannies more than you depend on being their mother every day," he continued. "I see it. The kids know it. You have people raising them while you do whatever you do. I’m not saying nannies are bad. I’m saying you use them so you don’t have to change how you live."

Kanye then turned to talking about North West, in particular the way that she dresses, saying it's "too grown, too styled, too much like a mini version of the brand instead of a kid."
"She's a child," he said. "Kids are supposed to look like kids. Not like they’re walking a runway or copying adult clothes. You’re putting her in outfits that make people look twice for the wrong reasons. That’s not fashion. That’s you projecting. Let her be a little girl. Stop making her dress like she’s already in the family business."
