Donald Trump Debuts Design For Space Force Uniforms
The new uniforms, which Donald Trump posted to his Truth Social account, are monochromatic black outfits with a thick belt around the middle and a turned up collar. He even explained the inspiration behind the uniforms, saying they were "inspired by the discipline and functionality of the starship trooper uniform modernized for the guardians of the space domain."
Other details include the color scheme: "space gray," "midnight black," silver gray," and "satin black," as well as arrow-shaped sleeve patches and collar insignias. It's unclear why Trump has taken special interest in the uniform design of the US Space Force, something that social media users have pointed to as a waste of resources.

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, users couldn't help but make fun of the new designs, with likening them to Star Trek and others pointing out darker themes. "It's a cross between a Star Wars imperial and Nazi Wehrmacht uniform," one person wrote. "Surely this is all a dream, this can't be real life."
"How has this man got to be President it’s unbelievable," said another.
"It’s like a mix of Starship Troopers, Star Wars, and the SS," a third person wrote.
"Is this for real?" asked another user. "These are literally the uniforms for the Empire in Star Wars??? What a joke!"
"It’s giving Spaceballs vibes," another comment reads. "That tracks."
"Trump thinks he rules the universe," said another.
"So we cut nasa funding, and started making space fashion?" asked a final user.
