Despite facing frequent criticism at just 13 years old, North West is earning plenty of praise from fans who say she’s carving out her own unique style. After posting a new TikTok, many followers dubbed her the “coolest nepo baby” in the comments.
In a video shared to the @kimandnorth TikTok account on August 4, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian lip-synced to a trending audio while showing off her signature punk-inspired aesthetic. She wore a black ruffled mini skirt paired with an oversized graphic T-shirt, chunky belted boots, spiked bracelets, and oversized sunglasses that covered much of her face. She completed the edgy look with long blue-to-black ombré hair.

North West Called ‘Coolest Nepo Baby’
The backdrop featured shelves filled with plush toys, backpacks, and collectibles, suggesting the video was filmed inside a store.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with compliments about her fashion sense and confidence.
“Y’all hate her so much, she’s def the coolest nepo baby,” one person wrote.
Another commented, “Love the drip, girl.”
“Why are you so cool?” another fan asked.
Others added, “I like your style,” and “I want to dress like this so bad.”
North recently made headlines after her planned Kimokawaii Tour with rapper Molly Santana was unexpectedly canceled.
The 14-date tour was scheduled to begin on August 5, in Dallas and continue through late August. Just days before opening night, however, all dates were removed from major ticketing platforms, including Ticketmaster, and the tour’s official website went offline.
North addressed the cancellation on her Instagram Story, writing, “I was really excited to go on tour with Molly Santana. Sadly it isn’t happening anymore.”
While she didn’t explain why the tour was canceled, she reassured fans that something new is on the way, adding, “But I have something special for u guys. See ya soon.”

North West Cancels Tour
The tour was set to support N0rth4evr, the 13-year-old’s debut music project, which was released in May.
According to insiders who spoke to the Daily Mail, several factors reportedly contributed to the cancellation of West’s Kimokawaii Tour.
One source claimed that Santana, 21, decided to prioritize finishing her next album instead of touring.
“It was several factors, but mainly having to do with Molly not being available,” another insider said.
Another reported issue was ticket sales.
“They really needed to pack these venues to make a profit because the tour was expensive with a lot of security and travel,” one source told the outlet.
The insider also pointed to broader economic concerns, saying concertgoers are becoming more selective about where they spend their money.
“Because the economy is hurting, people are spending less money on concerts. A lot of seats are not being filled. And it’s not just North—it is big stars too,” the source said. “The tickets are expensive, and so are the parking, beer, and hot dogs. It really adds up, and Americans are now saying no. People will splurge on a Taylor Swift concert ticket, but not for the smaller artists.”
The source also suggested that North’s image may not have appealed to some parents.
“Moms don’t want to buy tickets for their kids because it’s not Disney content. It’s not cutesy and innocent—it’s a young girl with piercings and blue hair. So moms don’t want to go there. It’s like, ‘No thanks, not for my kid,'” the insider claimed.
Finally, the source argued that North may need a larger catalog of popular songs before embarking on a major tour.
“She also needs more hit songs under her belt before she can fill venues. People go to concerts to hear hit songs,” the insider said.
