Hailey Bieber made a glamorous statement at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City, stepping out in a head-turning gold ensemble. But shortly after her red-carpet appearance, the model and beauty entrepreneur shared a more personal update, opening up about a health condition she quietly struggled with after becoming a mother.
The model attended the ceremony in a gold brocade and beaded Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2027 look, featuring a high-collar, long-sleeved bodysuit paired with a matching midi pencil skirt. The skirt featured metallic embroidery, intricate beading, and a daring thigh-high front slit.

She completed the ensemble with plush chocolate-brown animal-free fur cuffs, metallic gold Saint Laurent stiletto sandals, and a button-back diamond ring by Jessica McCormack.
The Rhode founder attended the event as a muse of Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello. She later joined him onstage to present the International Designer of the Year Award, alongside fellow YSL muses, including BLACKPINK's Rosé, Zoë Kravitz, and Anja Rubik.
However, beyond the fashion moment, Bieber recently offered a candid glimpse into her personal life, revealing that she struggled with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) after giving birth to her son, Jack Blues.
In a recent interview with Beauty Inc., a Women's Wear Daily affiliate, Bieber spoke about feeling alone while navigating the condition and expressed frustration over the lack of awareness and research surrounding women's health.
Premenstrual dysphoric disorder is a severe, cyclical condition associated with hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle. It can cause significant emotional, behavioral, and physical symptoms during the premenstrual phase.

Hailey Opens Up About PMDD Struggle
“After I had my son, I struggled with [PMDD] a bit, and there’s just not a lot of conversation or research around it,” Bieber said.
She went on to explain why speaking openly about the condition is so important to her.
“Conversation, for me personally, makes me feel less alone,” she shared. “When we can identify with each other and have conversations relating to each other and talking about the things we’re dealing with and struggling with, I do think it makes it feel like less of a lonely journey.”
The mom of one also told the outlet that she has been frustrated by the lack of awareness surrounding women's health, particularly after experiencing pregnancy and childbirth herself.
“Especially after having my own child. That was just a really intense and special journey that I had,” she explained. “There’s so much that happens when you are pregnant, during childbirth. There’s so many things that happen leading up to having a child.”
Hailey and her husband, Justin Bieber, welcomed their son, Jack Blues, in August 2024. Since becoming a mother, Hailey has occasionally offered glimpses into family life while continuing to build her beauty brand and pursue her career.
