Melania Trump wowed the internet this past weekend after neither she nor her team posted anything for her husband, Donald Trump’s birthday.
The First Lady has been sharing numerous updates on her Instagram account and more, but for the president’s 80th birthday, which was celebrated this weekend, there wasn’t any kind of special post. The revelation didn’t come long after reports emerged that the couple was more distant than ever during his second administration, even allegedly sleeping in separate beds most of the time. Read more about the situation below.

Melania Trump Dodges Birthday Post For Husband Donald Trump
This past weekend was a bit one in regards to politics and pop culture, as the White House held its UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House lawn. The event was held in honor of the U.S. holiday Flag Day, which fell on the same day as the Apprentice star's 80th birthday, which he seemingly took full advantage of.
For the festivities, members of the Trump family, administration, their supporters, celebrities, etc., took to the White House lawn to watch official, extravagant UFC fights and entertainment. In attendance was also First Lady Melania, who sat beside her husband for some of the fights in a chic leather blazer.
Though she was physically present to support her husband on his birthday, it didn't take long for people to notice that on her official Instagram page, which often posts updates about her projects and accomplishments as First Lady, there was no special post or shoutout for his 80th.
Donald And Melania Reportedly Don't Sleep In The Same Bed & Live 'Separate Lives'
Because social media has become such a central part of many people's lives, it's super common for married couples, from the president and first lady to ordinary people, to post for their significant other's birthday. Still, that didn't seem to be a priority for the Slovenian native.
The news regarding the lack of a birthday post might not come as much of a surprise to people who have been following their love story and reading about what they've been up to during President Trump's second administration. Last year, more reports came out that the pair are quite distant from each other, not even sleeping in the same space, choosing to crash in separate beds and live "separate lives."
We'll be curious to see what interactions we see between the president and first lady during the rest of the year, but for now, it looks like Melania isn't rushing to show forced affection for her husband.
