Engineer and tech pro Michael Frohlich recommends the iPhone 17 Pro, saying it's the best iPhone to buy before Apple's next release because of its speed and overall performance.
"The way I see it, the iPhone 17 Pro is the best iPhone to buy this summer, before Apple floods the market with the latest model," he explains. "It's super fast and reliable when it comes to running heavy software, and you can switch between apps without even noticing glitches or any sign that the system is frozen a bit. Of course, it's been criticized in some aspects, but it still remains the hot item."
If you're looking for something that's slightly more budget-friendly, tech expert Thad Hwang explains that the next best choice would be the iPhone 17e.
"The iPhone 17e is an attractive option for those with an older iPhone not wanting to spend a thousand dollars or more for an upgrade, but it will also be attractive to Android users looking to switch to a mid-range phone without sacrificing performance and AI features," Hwang adds. "Apple has definitely made a statement and raised the bar for mid-range phones with this release."
