Last week, musicians and other celebrities stepped out for the Songwriters Hall of Fame gala in New York City, where some of the industry’s most celebrated songwriters were honored and inducted.
One of the most notable figures of the evening was none other than the Eras Tour star, who was finally getting inducted into the hall of fame following nearly two decades of gradually becoming one of the world’s biggest pop stars. She sat at a table with her mom, fiancé Travis Kelce, and fellow friends in the industry like rising artist Sombr. Also honored that night were Alanis Morissette, Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley from KISS, and more.
There were a lot of big moments during the gala, including Taylor’s emotional speech, where she reflected on her career, the challenges she’s faced, and, at one point, tearfully thanked her parents for uprooting their lives in Pennsylvania to move to Nashville so she could pursue songwriting as a teenager. Live performances also occurred, and while artist John Fogerty was on stage performing with his son, the “Opalite” singer was filmed dancing around at her table, singing along to “Fortunate Son” and doing some interesting arm movements.

Fans & Other Social Media Users React To Taylor's Dance Moves Online
Anyone who has been following the Grammy-winner's career for the last ten years or so is likely aware that she is well known for her dance moves. With her tall, slender frame, anytime she decides to break out a few moves during some kind of public appearance, she doesn't necessarily look like what some might expect.
Despite her impressive songwriting capabilities and accolades, there are still numerous social media users who haven't been able to let Taylor live down her "awkward" moves and continue to point them out after clips of her at the Hall of Fame ceremony went viral.
One Instagram user responded that they have "so much secondhand embarrassment," as another wrote, "It's giving middle-aged mom at a Midwest church festival."
"No rhythm, ever," commented a user. "But she's [having] a time anyway!"
"We do not need more proof she can't dance," added another.
An X user called Taylor "a billionaire performer that still can't bust a move," as one other called the dancing "cringy."
