This week, the model shared a glimpse of her big night on Instagram, posting a photo of herself posing on a staircase in a stunning archival gown by Oscar de la Renta. The strapless gray-blue dress featured a sequined bodice and a soft tulle skirt, creating an elegant, fairytale-like silhouette.

According to Page Six, the gown is from the designer’s Spring 2022 collection. A version of the dress previously sold on Vestiaire Collective for $5,800, while its original retail price was listed at $12,900.
Sunday is already carving out a name for herself in the fashion world. She recently made her runway debut for Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 show and went on to star in the brand’s campaign. In March, she also landed her first major magazine cover with Elle Australia—all while balancing life as a high school student.
Despite her parents’ separation, the teen has made it clear that her mom remains her biggest inspiration. Speaking to Elle about her runway debut, she shared, “I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age. My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”

Sunday Rose Talks About Industry Advice Her Mom Gave Her
Even with her growing career, she’s still a typical teenager at heart—school comes first.
Reflecting on her first fashion show, she admitted, “[During the show] I was thinking about my chemistry homework and hoping my teacher would give me an extension on the deadline,” she said with a laugh. “I was also thinking about how excited I was to see everyone sitting at the show. But when I got out onto the runway, I couldn’t see a single person because I was so focused on what was ahead of me and walking in those heels.”
She also revealed the best advice she’s received from her mom: “The biggest piece of industry advice Mum has given to me is to always be on time. There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.”
Looking ahead, Sunday has her sights set beyond modeling, with long-term ambitions of becoming a filmmaker. She’s already dipped her toes into acting, appearing in projects like Big Little Lies and The Undoing alongside her mother.
