Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s children celebrated Easter by taking part in traditional activities such as an Easter egg hunt and egg painting. And how do we know that? Because their mom posted about it on social media, of course!
On Monday, April 6th, the With Love, Meghan star posted several videos of son Prince Archie and daughter Princess Lilibet enjoying Easter fun on Instagram – and, unsurprisingly, faced a lot of backlash from critics!

Meghan Markle Posts New Videos Of Prince Archie And Princess Lilibet At Easter
One video showed Prince Archie, dressed in dark trousers and a dark blue jacket, and Princess Lilibet, wearing a sleeveless pink summer dress and bunny ears, running around their garden taking part in an Easter egg hunt.
Another video showed Lilibet walking with Easter baskets, while another clip featured her carrying two giant stuffed animals, including a white rabbit. In a separate video, Archie could be seen concentrating as he painted an Easter egg.

Despite only showing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet from the side or behind in order to protect their privacy, critics still argued that the content shouldn't have been posted at all if privacy is as important as the couple claim. Prince Harry has long expressed concerns about protecting his children's privacy, largely due to his own experiences growing up in the public eye alongside his older brother, Prince William.
It has also been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have disagreed on the issue in the past, with Meghan allegedly believing that sharing glimpses of their children aligns with their professional lives. Could posting them without showing their faces be their compromise?

Internet Reactions
As the former Suits actress turned off the comments on the post – as she always does – critics took to other platforms to share their thoughts. And they didn't hold back, pointing out what they see as hypocrisy in sharing content while requesting privacy, as well as frustration over only seeing the backs of the children's heads.
"We want 'Privacy!' Bet you Harry absolutely hates this!" exclaimed one Daily Mail reader. "Weird, for people who want privacy and to protect their children, they sure do release a lot of videos," wrote a second, as a third echoed: "Thought they wanted privacy." A fourth added: "So much privacy. Does she actually know what the word means?"
"I'm so bored with the back of their heads! Why on earth keep posting these daft pictures?" questioned a fifth, as a sixth concurred: "Why post them if you can't see their faces? Just don't post. And why does Archie have a winter coat on but the girl is in a summer dress? Just so weird, all of it."
"What is the point of showing the backs of these kids' heads? Just don't show them at all. And there is Harry saying be very concerned about putting your kids on social media. What hypocrites," slammed a seventh. As an eighth added: "Doesn't Harry constantly preach about not putting your kids on the internet? Obviously Meghan didn't care."
"The only time Meghan seems to spend any time with her children is when she is photographing them and using them for publicity," criticized a ninth. "Pathetic!" declared a tenth unimpressed reader.
