Britney Spears is opening up about a bad experience with Botox, warning her followers to be careful after she says the treatment caused one of her eyes to droop.

In a now-deleted Instagram video, the mom of two explained that a doctor had injected too much Botox around her left eye, causing it to temporarily droop.

“It’s really bad, because [the doctor] put so much Botox in this left eye that it drooped down like that,” the “Toxic” hitmaker said while demonstrating the effect by closing her eye. “And it’s just now starting to raise up and be normal again.”

She captioned the post, “You can’t trust anyone !!!”

Spears said she was “so embarrassed” by the outcome and claimed that her eye remained noticeably drooped for about four weeks.

“My eye was down like this for four weeks,” she said. “It’s just now starting to rise again.”

The pop star then issued a warning to her followers.

“Girls, you have to be careful,” she said. “If you do Botox with these people and these doctors, they can really f–k your eyes up.”

Britney Spears Shares Glimpse Into Her Skincare Routine

In a separate Instagram video that remains on her page, Spears shared her skincare routine while explaining what she has been doing instead of Botox.

The singer demonstrated her routine using a gold gua sha sculpting tool, applying several skincare products while gliding the tool across her face and neck.

“I’ve had to take into my own hands and do my own thing for myself,” she said.

The 44-year-old then held up Clinique’s Moisture Surge Overnight Mask ($47), calling it “insane” and saying it helps “make your face really glow.”

She later showed two Chanel creams, praising their scent and saying they left her skin feeling “so nice.” At one point, Spears applied one of the luxury creams generously across her face while walking around her home and talking to the camera.

In the caption, she referenced her previous Botox experience again, writing, “I hate going to doctors … That bad Botox really messed my face up !!! I found my own gadgets now !!! Dr Spears !!! What if I was actually advanced lol.”
