Meghan Markle’s two-day trip to Jordan with the World Health Organization didn’t earn high marks from fashion critics online.
After fans criticized her wrinkled trousers during a visit to the social development organization Questscope’s youth center—where she met with young people involved in creative and well-being programs—she opted for a more polished, preppy look for her next stop at the National Centre for Rehabilitation of Addicts (NCRA) in Amman.
For the outing, the duchess embraced a high-low styling approach, pairing a brown-taupe Zara wool-blend topstitched jacket (priced at $169 and still in stock) with loose black trousers and classic black Chanel ballet flats.

Prince Harry kept his look simple, wearing a brown blazer over a white shirt with olive-green trousers and dark shoes.
Although the outfit appeared polished at first glance, many fans online argued that the look missed the mark, pointing out that the tailoring didn’t seem suited to her frame.
“Her clothing was awful,” one user wrote on Instagram. Another added, “She frequently disappoints. Catherine also gets things wrong, and I comment on that too.”
Others focused specifically on the fit of her outfit. “All that money and never a tailor in sight,” one commenter said, while another questioned, “Where is the stylist?? Even Harry’s clothes don’t match.”
Some remarks were even more critical. “Ill-fitting clothes and a bored husband trailing behind…” one person wrote. Another joked, “Looks like she repurposed an oversized dog bed—is this fashion?!”
A different user added a final jab: “She took everything with her except the iron!”

Meghan Markle Faces Criticism Over Fashion Choices in Jordan
During her February 2026 visit to Jordan, Markle stepped out in a blend of high-street and designer fashion, incorporating several pieces from Zara into her wardrobe. Among the standout looks were a crisp white suit by Veronica Beard, as well as an olive-green Zara top paired with khaki trousers from Jenni Kayne.
The outfit that drew the most backlash featured khaki-colored, wide-legged, high-waisted trousers by Jenni Kayne, which Meghan paired with a coordinating short-sleeved Zara T-shirt and matching Vince Marin boat shoes. However, online critics quickly zeroed in on the wrinkled appearance of the pants, questioning why they hadn’t been pressed before the public outing.
“Wrinkled baggy pants. "Again!" exclaimed one Instagram user, while another echoed, “Her clothes are always ill-fitting and wrinkled.” A third added, “Still hasn't found a clothing steamer, I see.”
“Why is she wearing one of Harry's dress shirts?” asked a fourth commenter. “The outfit is completely weird. The shoes, color, everything,” slammed a fifth, as another agreed, writing, “Oh no…She looks odd.”
“Cheap-looking as usual,” criticized one user, while another quipped, “Did the airline lose her clothes? Looks like she got dressed in a lost and found bin.”
