During the podcast, Lara fielded a mix of questions ranging from parenting to family dinners—along with a few playful prompts designed to get her to spill some inside details.
Host Katie Miller, who is married to White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller, kicked off a round of rapid-fire questions about the Trump family dynamics. At one point, she asked, “Who gives the most unsolicited advice?”
Lara laughed before answering, “Maybe Ivanka Trump. I feel like she wants to help—she always means so well. But you know, it’s OK. We take it all in stride. It’s all good.”
She quickly balanced that out with praise, adding that the first daughter is also the best gift-giver in the family. “Eric and I are the absolute worst. I mean, she remembers everything—my kids’ birthdays, every single time. Don’t ask me when the last time was I sent my nieces and nephews a birthday gift on time, because I always fail. I’m the worst,” she admitted.
Lara was also asked about the last text message she received from Donald Trump. “It was a video the White House put out, and it just said, ‘Love, DJT,’” alongside a clip of a bombing she shared, adding that it was a clip he seemed particularly proud of.
