Kim Kardashian is back with another collaboration with Nike for their NikeSKIMS line. For the Spring 2026 collection, Kim introduced more sporty shapewear essentials along with new footwear. However, some fans online were quick to criticize certain design details.
According to Nike’s official website, the new collection “features new silhouettes, materials and colorways, including the debut of the Matte Shine Mix material collection.” The brand also noted that the material collections come in five new colorways—Deep Royal/Stone, Obsidian/Igneous, Navy, Washed Pacific, and Deep Royal—while the NikeSKIMS Rift Mesh will be available in a new Light Bone colorway. The collection is set to launch on March 12 on Nike’s website and at select SKIMS retail stores.

Kim Kardashian Debuts New NikeSKIMS Collection
In the campaign photos, the actress and reality TV star wore navy blue tights and a matching bra top while holding dumbbells, showing off her signature hourglass figure. In another image, she sported a high-neck gray top tied at the waist paired with navy and white gym shorts.
But in the comments section of the post on her Instagram account, many fans focused on one particular design element: the front seam on the leggings.
“Kimberly why would u give us this diabolical front seam,” one user wrote. Another commented, “A front seam in 2026 is a crime, Kim.”
“Gym girls don’t want front seam,” another person added, while someone else asked, “But why the front seam, Kimberly?”
Others were more critical of the overall look. “This is literally giving SHEIN,” one user wrote, while another added, “It’s always the most boring clothes ever.”

Kim Kardashian Call Nike Collab 'Game-Changer'
NikeSKIMS, which officially launched in September 2025, has rolled out a broad lineup of athletic apparel and accessories designed with an emphasis on sculpting and comfort.
The mother of four has called the collaboration a “game-changer,” explaining that it is meant to “redefine women’s activewear without compromise.”
She added that “Skims is very body-oriented... so our next evolution was that we really wanted to do activewear.” She also shared that partnering with Nike had long been a goal, saying, “Nike is number one. I want Skims to partner with number one.”
Highlighting her hands-on approach, the 45-year-old described herself as “employee number one,” noting that she acts as the fit model for nearly every piece to test for “armpit fat and back fat and just all the things that might get overlooked.”
