The Wonka actor and girlfriend Kylie Jenner attended Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns‘ wedding, with the Kylie Cosmetics mogul’s attire also raising eyebrows. While Chalamet was criticized for seemingly ignoring the formal dress code – not the first time he has done so in his life! – Jenner was slammed for choosing a dress some deemed too risqué for the occasion. And the internet understandably let them have it!

Timothée Chalamet And Kylie Jenner Criticized For Their Wedding Guest Outfits
The mom-of-two, 29, flaunted her curves in a vintage Roberto Cavalli 2004 halter dress with seriously risqué cutout detailing all over, as well as a thigh-high slit. It certainly wasn’t for the faint-hearted! (Celine Dion wore a cream-colored version of the dress at the 2003 Billboard Music Awards, in case you’re getting a case of déjà vu!)
But while her choice was deemed too risqué for a wedding, her boyfriend‘s attire was roasted even more online. Instead of going for a traditional suit or tux – men have it a lot easier, don’t they?! – the Marty Supreme actor, 30, went for a black leather blazer, trousers, and a blue shirt, accessorized with black sunglasses. He also chose to forgo a tie, making him stand out from many of the other male guests, including Justin Bieber, who appeared to embrace the formal dress code.

“Timothée is honestly too much for me. Like you aren’t too cool to wear a suit to someone ELSE’S wedding. Everyone else managed. Including Justin. Like dude, get real,” slammed one Instagram user. “What is Timothée wearing? Looks terrible,” echoed a second, as a third said his casual attire was “so disrespectful.”
“He made zero effort,” concurred a fourth, as a fifth said he looked “ridiculous.” A sixth said he “definitely looked underdressed,” as a seventh added: “Compared to the other men it looked like he was dressed for a Friday outing with friends instead of a wedding.”
“Now why would he wear that?” asked an eighth. “Timmy dressed like my Dad when he’s going for dinner at Red Lobster,” quipped a ninth, as a tenth replied: “Doubt your dad could afford a $1.3K Loewe shirt like Timothée’s.” “Everyone’s stylist had the day off,” added an eleventh.

This isn't the first time the Dune actor has come under fire for not sticking to a dress code, as he has gone against the traditional Oscars dress code twice already. Back in 2020, he wore a navy blue Prada nylon zip-up jacket and matching trousers, while in 2022, he walked the red carpet in a dazzling Louis Vuitton blazer with absolutely nothing underneath!

And the Complete Unknown actor wasn't the only one whose wedding guest attire came under fire, as the internet soon turned its attention to Jenner – just a few days after her older half-sister Kim Kardashian was branded "tacky" for her vacation wardrobe.
"Kylie looks so tacky omg," slammed one user. "I just knew Kylie would show up in the tackiest dress," wrote a second, followed by three crying laughing emojis. "That dress is very very bad given she has access to a gazillion dresses," noted a third.
"That tacky dress probably costs $$$$," wrote a fourth. "Expensive dresses can still be tacky," agreed a fifth. "Exactly! Kylie is the proof that money doesn't equal elegance!" exclaimed a sixth, as a seventh said: "Kylie can't buy class."
