Katy Perry has a whole lot on her plate right now, but it looks like she’s not letting it interrupt date nights with her new man.
The pop singer recently stepped out for date night with Justin Trudeau, as they both attended a party hosted by Netflix. They flaunted their chic couple style as they attended the same event as her ex-fiance, Orlando Bloom. Though Katy dodged an awkward interaction, it hasn’t alleviated any of the heat she’s getting on social media following allegations made by actress Ruby Rose. Read more about the situation below.

Katy Perry & Justin Trudeau Flaunt Their Style At A Party As She Avoids Orlando Bloom
The "Firework" singer has been out and about with her new beau, former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. The pair were spotted on their first date over the summer, not long after she and the Pirates of the Caribbean star confirmed their split, and have been seen at numerous public events together since, from a political summit to Coachella.
The unexpected duo turned heads at a Netflix party held in honor of the season two premiere of the limited drama series Beef, which is now starring Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan. The party was held last weekend by the streaming service's CEO, Ted Sarandos, and his wife in their California home. For the event, Katy wore a chic short-sleeved beaded white dress that hugged her figure and included some interesting texture. Justin sported a classic look with blue jeans, a forest green shirt, and a dark gray coat. You can see pictures of them here!
Ironically, the party was also attended by Orlando Bloom, Katy's former fiancé and partner of nine years. Though they claim to be amicable co-parents, there are no indicators that they spent any time together at the Netflix event, and they avoided any awkward interactions.

Katy Attends Netflix Party Amid Ruby Rose Allegations
The Netflix party occurred just a day before Australian actress Ruby Rose, best known for her performances in Orange Is the New Black and John Wick: Chapter 2, made some pretty serious allegations against the 41-year-old vocalist, which are now reportedly being investigated.
On Threads, Rose responded to a post about Katy filming and critiquing Justin Bieber's Coachella performance, writing that she was assaulted by the singer "at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne," then suggesting no one cares about what she thinks.
The one post led to a series of responses and more details from the actress, as she claimed the "California Girls" singer became extremely inappropriate with her during a night out with friends "almost two decades ago," performing a lewd action that allegedly caused her to "projectile vomit."
"Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault take," the Australian native added.
As of right now, Katy's legal team is dismissing Ruby's claims as "reckless lies," and social media is divided, but many are becoming more untrusting of the vocalist, meaning this could have a big impact on the rest of her career.
