For the performance, she kicked things off by shaking her buttocks while wearing a large, feathered, green, detachable skirt.
The singer and actress later removed the skirt to reveal a sequined, barely-there green dress featuring a backless design, midsection cutouts, and tassels along the front and hips. She paired the look with silver heels and danced in a provocative manner throughout the routine.

While her energy and dance moves are undeniable at 56, some fans online felt the outfit and choreography were over the top.

During her opening night performance on December 30 of her Las Vegas residency, she addressed the audience:
“Ah, scrolling through the internet—why do we do this to ourselves? It’s so crazy.”
“You know, thank God I’ve been doing this a long time. I can just ignore a lot of it; it really doesn’t mean anything. I tell my kids that all the time,” she added, referring to her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
“I do laugh at some of the things sometimes, because they do say funny things too,” she continued, mocking trolls who comment, “Why she always dressed that way? Why don’t she dress her age? Why she always n***d?” Lopez explained. “And I said, ‘If you had this b**ty, you’d be n***d too.'”
She then turned to give the audience a full view of her body, showing off the tiny green sequin and fringe ensemble, held together only by two crisscrossing strips of fabric over her abdomen.
