Even though Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has wrapped for the year, Justin Bieber’s performance is still getting people talking—and singing along.
In a viral video posted by an influencer at the festival, Jaden Smith was seen rapping along to his verses from “Never Say Never,” his 2011 collaboration with Bieber from The Karate Kid. In the clip, the 27-year-old appears fully in the moment, vibing to the track as it plays in the background and enthusiastically performing his part.

Jaden Smith Performs ‘Never Say Never’ To Coachella Crowd On The Grounds
For the outing, Jaden wore a blue sporty shirt paired with white shorts, red shoes, and a matching belt, finishing the look with a blue “Christian Louboutin” cap.
While he seemed to be enjoying himself in his own world, not everyone online was impressed. Some viewers found it odd that he was off to the side doing his own thing during Bieber’s set.
“I love how only the person with the camera is paying attention to him,” one person commented on TikTok. Someone else wrote, “I never ever want to hear that again.” Another user added, “Nobody is paying attention to him,” while one joked, “sounds like a minion rapping.” A different commenter said, “Bro was having his own concert,” and another criticized, “This kid is such a nepo baby. He thinks soooo highly of himself.” One more bluntly added, “God he sucks…. Pathetic.”
Not all reactions were negative, though. Some fans actually loved seeing him enjoy the moment. “Justin should’ve brought him out too,” one person wrote. Someone else responded, “maybe Jaden just wanted to vibe instead of perform lol.” Another fan shared, “basically we need Jaden on stage with Justin to perform this iconic song,” while one more added, “collab so iconic, leaves us wanting more every time they perform together.”

Jaden Smith Supports Friend Justin Bieber At Coachella
The singer and rapper has been showing consistent support for his longtime friend Justin across both weekends of Coachella. During the first weekend on April 11, he wore a T-shirt featuring a 2012 photo of the two of them, a nod to their “Never Say Never” era. He styled it with black jeans, a charm necklace, and a red cap that read “Christian.”
The two have shared a close bond for more than a decade, often described as brotherly. Back in 2024, they made headlines following a heartfelt reunion at Coachella, where a viral video captured them embracing backstage, with the “Baby” hitmaker even playfully kissing Jaden on the cheek.
While he continues to support Bieber, Jaden has also been shifting his focus toward the fashion world. In September 2025, he was named Men’s Creative Director for Christian Louboutin. In the role, he oversees the development of four collections each year, with his debut line unveiled in January 2026.
