In the photo, the 27-year-old showcased his signature eclectic style, wearing a pearl-embellished cap, a black puffer jacket, and matching shirt and jeans. Jaden Smith Makes Waves In The Industry Following Karate Kid Success
Following the success of Karate Kid, Jaden went on to star in After Earth in 2013 alongside his father, Will Smith, before shifting his focus toward music and fashion.
He later released several albums, including SYRE and ERYS, launched the clothing brand MSFTSrep, and co-founded the beverage company JUST Goods. As a musician, Smith established himself in the industry, with his track “Icon” becoming a major commercial success in 2017.
More recently, he has faced backlash following news that he was appointed the first Men’s Creative Director for Christian Louboutin in September 2025, overseeing four collections per year. A capsule collection launched in January 2026, with a full line expected in May 2026.
The appointment sparked criticism online, with some users labeling him a “nepo baby” and arguing that the role should have gone to a designer without industry connections. Others also questioned the designs themselves, fueling debate around his creative direction in the fashion world.
