Kylie Jenner, like many of her famous sisters, enjoys having some pets around. However, fans are beginning to wonder what happened to her dachshund dogs.

The reality star is facing a new wave of backlash after a viral social media post drew attention to the dachshund puppies she adopted, including the one she named “Moo Pants,” which she revealed on her social accounts in 2023. The posts include speculation as to what she might’ve done with the dogs, especially since over the last year, she’s posted significantly more about her new cat than she has about them. After analyzing the situation, she was accused of “abandoning” the dogs and only using them to fit a certain aesthetic. Read more about the speculation and what internet users think below.

Social Media Users Wonder What Happened To Kylie Jenner's Dachshunds

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is a lot like the average family in which they not only enjoy expanding their group with little kids, but also some pets to keep around.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder is an especially big fan of animals, making it clear ever since she adopted her famous Italian Greyhound, Norman, who became a big part of her brand and image and passed away at the age of 12 in 2025. During his life, she adopted even more animals, including six more dogs, a bunny, chickens, etc. One of her latest canine additions is Moo Pants, the dachshund she officially shared on social media in 2023.

Following Moo Pants, the mom-of-two shared images of him and another dachshund on social media, more notably over the holidays in 2024, posting pictures of them in Christmas outfits. However, since then, she noticeably began posting less of her dogs and more of her three cats, who she began posting content of over the last year, fully leaning more into the 'cat mom' aesthetic. The increase in cat content and lack of pictures of her dogs has caught people's attention, with users calling out the dogs' 'disappearance' in various posts on different platforms.

"This has been bothering me for so long, and I felt like the only person that ever noticed her gang of dachshunds went missing as soon as she ventured to being a cat girlie," wrote an angry user on Reddit, who speculated that she got rid of her dogs. "Because yes, buying a bunch of dogs and animals and shipping them away to another house for someone else to deal with as soon as they don't match your aesthetic anymore is WEIRD and it actually irritates me beyond belief."

Fans Accuse Kylie Of 'Abandoning' Her Dogs On Social Media

Though she's clearly a lover of adopting pets, the Khy clothing founder doesn't talk about her animals all that often, especially now that she has so many other projects and her children to focus on. However, she has seemingly been extra excited about her new cats, more recently posting a YouTube video with three white kittens, introducing them during one of her latest 'get ready with me' vlogs.

Due to this behavior, there are many more social media users weighing in on the sudden lack of attention and posts dedicated not just to her dachshunds but all of her dogs in general, with some accusing her of 'abandoning' them, giving them away to someone else, etc., all for the sake of switching to a 'cat mom' aesthetic.

"These poor pets are just accessories," commented an additional Reddit user.

"Just because someone is rich doesn't mean that they are responsible animal lovers," wrote another.

One user slammed the entire Kardashian-Jenner family, whose pets have come and gone from the spotlight, writing, "They're cruel pet owners."

"Whatever happened to all those Italian greyhounds?" a user asked, referring to her other dogs, as another wrote that she chose to "abandon them."

"She wants to call these animals her pets, but is she shoveling up their poop?" a user asked. "Trimming their nails? Brushing the cats' fur? Bathing the dogs? Playing with them at all? No. She picks up one and pretends to cuddle it like it's a stuffed animal so she can snap a selfie... A pet owner deals with the daily maintenance...She uses them as accessories. You won't see these cats on her feed anymore by next month. She'll move on to something else."
