In the video, her mom, Vanessa, is also featured, and once it was posted, social media users praised how the teenager is growing up. Kai Trump Posts A Back-To-School Shopping Vlog For Her First College Apartment
It’s back-to-school season, and that means that not only are millions of children and adolescents in America getting back into classroom mode, but also some of the country’s more prominent young adults.
This includes the teenage golfer, Kai, who’s been making more of a name for herself over the last year and since the beginning of her grandfather Donald Trump’s second term as president. Over the summer, she went on family vacations, played more golf, and attended exciting events like the ESPYs and NBA Finals. Now, she’s getting ready for her first year at the University of Miami, where she signed to play for their women’s golf program for the 2026-27 season.
As her semester begins on August 19th, she took to her YouTube page and other social media profiles to share a vlog where she’s shopping for her first college apartment. In the video, she not only shares clips of herself on the golf course, hanging out with friends, and shooting content for her new clothing brand, but also a segment of herself shopping at a local Target with her famous mom, Vanessa Trump.
In the video, the mother and daughter can be seen goofing around in the aisles of the store as they select various items for her upcoming school year.

Anyone who's been following the famous family for quite some time now might know that they've had quite a lot going on over the last couple of years.
Kai's father, Donald Trump Jr., who divorced Vanessa in 2018 after 12 years of marriage, married socialite Bettina Anderson in May. Meanwhile, the former model announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The 19-year-old seemingly maintained her composure through the changes, telling reporters at the ESPYs and other events that everyone was hanging in there.
Now, after seeing a longer vlog of the young woman letting loose and having fun, fans of the Trump family are complimenting not only her, but her parents, for the person she's turning out to be.
