Gisele Bündchen Reflects On Her Previous Life In Boston With Tom Brady
The mom of three – who shares son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13, with Brady, as well as a 16-month-old son with Valente – explained that she was living a much quieter life after moving to New England and reflected on how different it was from the fast-paced lifestyle she had known earlier in her career. However, it also seems to be a period she remembers fondly.
"I had moved to Boston and was living a much quieter life," the Nourish cookbook author, who now lives in Miami with the jiu-jitsu instructor, said, adding that by contrast: "Earlier in my career, everything was about achievement and saying yes to every opportunity."
"Over time, I began to understand the importance of finding balance," she continued. "My spiritual practice helped me become more present and more connected to myself. Instead of focusing on external expectations, I started paying attention to how I felt internally. That changed everything – not only my work, but also the way I experienced life."

Gisele's Emotional Goodbye To Boston
The former Victoria's Secret Angel left Boston in 2020 after the seven-time Super Bowl champ signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the couple later divorcing in 2022 after 13 years of marriage. As she prepared to leave, she shared a heartfelt tribute to the city, saying she loved it for many reasons, including that their children were born there and that she had formed lasting friendships.
"What a ride the last decade has been. Boston has been so good to us and will always be in our hearts. We will forever have wonderful memories," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Our kids were born and raised there and we have made special friendships to last a lifetime."
"I'll miss our friends, the beautiful change of seasons and the rides to the stadium to go cheer for Tom and the Pats," she concluded. "Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of my husband and our family throughout all these years. We will miss you."
Bündchen had also joked about New England's weather while speaking to Vogue in June 2018, admitting that although she loved Boston, she wasn't a fan of the cold. "Why do I live here? It's called love. I love my husband," she told the fashion bible. "My kids were born here in our old apartment on Beacon Street. They're little Bostonians, and they love the weather. But I'm not going to lie. Cold is not my flavor. I'm Brazilian. I'd rather live barefoot in a hut in the middle of the forest somewhere."

Insider Claims Gisele Felt Like She Was In Tom's 'Shadow' During Marriage
Bündchen's reflections on her time in Boston come amid previous reports about her experience during her marriage to the NFL broadcaster, including claims that she felt somewhat overshadowed by him.
An insider previously told Page Six that she is "absolutely loving this new chapter" of her life with Valente, and feels much happier than she did during her marriage to Brady. They went on to say that she feels much "freer" since dating Valente, adding that they believe she "felt like she lived in Tom's shadow for a long time."
Despite that, she remains "grateful for what she had" with the former quarterback, especially because their marriage brought them their two kids. She feels "blessed for their children," the insider shared, referring to son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.
