California department store Fred Segal has just dropped a capsule collection with Vitamin A, a Los Angeles brand behind the world’s first-ever plant-based swim fabric.

The Fred Segal ❤ Vitamin A line features retro 70s-inspired one piece and bikini styles that are locally-produced with Vitamin A’s castor bean-based BioRib material that dropped earlier this year.

Two top styles (bandeau and triangle), two bottoms (high-waist and low-cut) and a one-piece comes in four bright colors for spring: poppy red, sky blue, navy deep blue and honeycomb.

Priced $95 to $190 and available online and in the Fred Segal store, the collection is inspired by “the light-hearted freshness” of LA beach culture and Vitamin A’s core belief that “sustainability is sexy.”
