Known for her daring fashion choices, including plunging gowns and figure-hugging bodysuits, the singer and actress surprised fans when she stepped out in a tailored look that was a departure from her usual style.
On September 25, Jennifer attended Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2027 runway show wearing a black velvet waistcoat over a white button-up shirt, paired with a skinny black tie and a matching velvet suit jacket. The inside of the jacket featured white polka dots, adding a playful detail to the otherwise dark ensemble. She completed the look with tailored trousers tucked into black leather knee-high boots, a flat cap, and a leather clutch. Diamond jewelry added a touch of glamour to her Peaky Blinders-inspired outfit.

While the mom of two took a fashion risk by trading her signature revealing ensembles for a more masculine silhouette, fans couldn't resist making lighthearted comparisons to the popular period crime drama.
“It’s Tommy Shelby,” one person joked. Another commented, “It’s giving Peaky Blinders.”
“The most covered I’ve ever seen her,” someone else remarked. Others poked fun at the combination of tailored clothing and riding-inspired accessories.
Another quipped, “When you have a fashion show at 2 but a riding lesson at 3.”

Not everyone was entirely convinced by the look, however. “The outfit is cool and she’s beautiful as always, but the tailoring is disappointing,” one commenter observed.
Meanwhile, the 57-year-old made headlines for another reason this week when her ex-husband Ben Affleck offered rare public praise for her work ethic and career achievements.

During his Wednesday, October 14, appearance on iHeartPodcasts’ My Cultura Network podcast The Moment with Jorge and Paola Ramos, Affleck was asked about his former wife and reflected on her determination and success in the entertainment industry.
“You have to understand, I think to understand Jennifer Lopez, honestly, is to understand somebody who really is a pioneer who did things when she was told they’re not possible and you’re not welcome, and by kind of force of will,” Affleck said.
He went on to explain how Lopez found ways to connect with audiences even when she encountered barriers in the industry.
“And even when there were gates that were erected in front of her, she was able to use social media to demonstrate, ‘Actually, look at this, there is an audience for me and for what I’m doing,’” he said.
Affleck acknowledged that the entertainment business can be challenging, adding that Lopez has faced additional obstacles throughout her career.
“Her whole sort of career has been marked by — and this is a tough business, anyway — but definitely doubly so for her, triply so, and I think you have to afford her the credit of a kind of… they give an Olympic diver a degree of difficulty. I think she’s got a 4X on what she’s done,” he continued.
