Her accessories were equally regal. The mom of three wore the Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara, which has long been associated with Princess Diana and was reportedly one of her favorite royal jewels. The late princess last wore the tiara in 1991 before Middleton brought it back into the spotlight in 2015. She completed the look with gold sequined pumps by Aquazzura.
As customary for a state banquet, the Princess of Wales also wore her badge, sash, and star of the Royal Victorian Order, adding another layer of royal grandeur to her ensemble.
Prince William opted for a traditional Windsor tailcoat for the state banquet, completing his formal look with a sash and the star of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, along with the Lesser George.
