After initially listing the property for $68M, the asking price was eventually slashed to $52M, and had been on and off the market a few times as well.
The Argo actor reportedly became so eager to offload the mansion that he didn't care if it meant taking a multi-million dollar loss, as he was keen to fully move on from his ex. An insider told the Daily Mail at the time: "He really just wants this to be sold so that he can cut the final cord that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined." And now, there have been some very surprising developments…
According to reports, the Gone Girl actor has taken things one step further in order to cut ties – by allegedly giving Lopez his entire share of the house for free. Yes, really!
Per TMZ, the Batman v Superman actor signed over his interest in the property to the Hustlers actress at no cost, with documents citing a "transfer of property among spouses" as part of their divorce settlement agreement. We definitely didn't see that coming!
