Kim Kardashian Appeared To Celebrate The Democrats' Midterm Wins With A New Post

Following the Democrats' major victories in Tuesday's midterm elections, Kim took to X on Wednesday, November 4th, to share a post that some interpreted as a celebration of the results. The SKIMS founder shared a glamorous photo of herself alongside the caption "GOOD MORNING AMERICA," which quickly caught people's attention given the timing.

The post also featured the reality star dancing around in full glam, leading some users to believe she was joining the online celebrations following the so-called blue wave. However, Kim was also promoting her appearance on ABC's Good Morning America, where she was discussing the second season of her Hulu series All's Fair.

Fans Bring Up Kim Kardashian's Friendship With Ivanka Trump After Her Post

While some social media users appeared to take the reality star's post as a political statement, others weren't so convinced that she was suddenly celebrating the Democrats. Several people pointed to her longstanding friendship with Ivanka Trump, questioning how the reality star's apparent enthusiasm for the election results squared with her close ties to the Trump family.

Kim and Ivanka have known each other for more than a decade, first connecting at the 2014 Met Gala before becoming closer through motherhood and their shared interest in criminal justice reform. Their relationship became particularly notable in 2018, when Kim worked with Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, to advocate for Alice Marie Johnson's release, eventually securing a meeting with then-President Donald Trump. The two have continued to appear together at social events over the years, including Kim's star-studded 43rd birthday party in 2023.

"She is wherever the power is," claimed a social media user about Kim. "I don't think she's truly connected to either side of politics."

"Don't try to switch up now, Kim MAGAdashian," joked another.

"Seems like these people saw the way the wind was blowing and decided to go along with it rather than go against it," a user responded. "It's pure survival mode. Glad this behavior is being called out."

"Don't let them rebrand," added another.
