Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have seemingly been having a great time on their romantic vacation in St. Tropez, France; and there are more than enough PDA-filled pap pictures that prove it! Whether or not the internet is happy about the pictures, however, is another story, as there have been quite mixed reactions to them!
The couple nobody had on their bingo card was seen engaging in plenty of PDA during their vacation, which comes almost one year after they shocked the internet by going on their first date. They were spotted holding hands while strolling together, being affectionate while relaxing, and kissing in the ocean while spending time at Club 55 and Les Palmiers beach clubs, with many people on social media comparing their affectionate displays to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker‘s famously over-the-top PDA.
And just like with the Kardashians star and the Blink-182 drummer, many fans felt uncomfortable seeing the pictures, although many others were fully on board with the relationship!

The "Harleys in Hawaii" singer looks chic in a khaki-colored midi skirt, teamed with a white shirt with the front tied up and some effortless flats, while her beau wears a coordinating ensemble consisting of khaki pants and a white shirt. Another paparazzi picture obtained by People shows the 41-year-old former American Idol judge wearing a strapless, cream-colored one-piece swimsuit with a lace cover-up draped over her shoulders, accessorized with a straw bucket hat and sunglasses, as she wraps her arms around the 54-year-old former Canadian prime minister, who is wearing blue swim shorts. Another picture shows the pair in the same outfits walking hand in hand along the beach.
Photos taken on another day obtained by DeuxMoi show the "Roar" hitmaker wearing a brown halter-neck bikini with a matching brown sarong while Trudeau wears khaki shorts. In those images, the couple can be seen holding hands, kissing in the water, embracing, and enjoying their time together, seemingly without caring who was watching.
As we previously mentioned, the couple's romantic French getaway comes one year after they were first linked, when they were spotted having dinner together in Canada. Shortly afterward, Trudeau was seen attending one of Perry's concerts with his daughter, fueling speculation that the two were dating. The timing has even led some fans to wonder whether the trip doubles as an anniversary getaway!
Since then, the pair have made their red carpet debut and gone Instagram official, although their relationship hasn't been without rumors of trouble. Some reports have claimed Trudeau wasn't happy with Perry's A-list lifestyle, allegedly much preferring more "modest" ways of life; but the latest vacation pictures suggest they're still going strong!
Trudeau also recently surprised fans by appearing in a promotional TikTok for Perry's new single, "Watch it Burn." His appearance generated plenty of discussion online, with some people mocking his dance moves, while others came to his defense and urged others to let him live his life!

Social media was divided, to say the least! "Why do we have to keep seeing these 2?" asked one Instagram user on a DeuxMoi post featuring the pictures, followed by an eye-rolling emoji. "Why does this bother me?" asked a second, as a third called them the "Strangest pairing." "They'll get engaged by the end of the year. Mark my words!" exclaimed a fourth.
Others were very vocal about not liking the pictures. "Please stop," begged a fifth. "I have nausea," slammed a sixth, while a seventh wrote: "I just cannot." "Yuck," wrote an eighth, as a ninth said the pictures were "cringe." "Giving me the ick," criticized a tenth, while an eleventh added: "It's just disgusting." "Don't ragebait me like this, said a twelfth.
Others, however, shipped the couple completely, with one writing: "I kind of love them together." "These two are adorable. Haters gonna hate," gushed a second, while a third said: "They can never make me hate them together."
"I love it. He gets a lot of flack but honestly I think he did a great job navigating Canada through COVID and he is finally getting to enjoy his life as a private citizen now," noted a fourth."
