Jessica Simpson‘s fans are coming to her defense after a video posted three months ago suggests she may have what is commonly referred to as ‘Ozempic face’ following her 100-lb weight loss.
The Newlyweds alum, 45, has been criticized for her appearance many times over the past few years, with fans thinking she has overdone it with Botox, fillers, and rumored cosmetic surgery.
And now she is being accused by some people of having what is known as ‘Ozempic face,’ i.e. a giveaway that someone may have used weight-loss injections due to a gaunt and/or aged appearance that can follow rapid weight loss.

The video, posted on YouTube on March 11th, showcases what the multi-hyphenate looked like at the start of her career, and goes through her transformation to the present day. It then goes on to say that her much slimmer facial features understandably make her a target for 'Ozempic face' rumors, although it's important to note that Simpson has never confessed to using Ozempic or any other weight loss injections.
The video is titled: "Jessica Simpson's Transformation Makes Her A Target For 'Ozempic Face' Rumors." Underneath, the caption reads: "Jessica Simpson has been in the spotlight for nearly 30 years, and she's been through plenty of changes in that time. But it's what's going on with her face that has people talking these days."
The video also references Simpson's own comments about gaining significant weight during each of her three pregnancies, and notes that her biggest reported weight loss – 100 lbs – came after the birth of her third child, daughter Birdie, now 7. She is also mom to daughter Maxwell, 14, and son Ace, 12.
"I gain a lot. I mean, a lot. I didn't expect to gain as much with my third," the Open Book author said in archival footage featured in the video. The video also pointed out that in 2022, Simpson told Extra that she lost weight completely naturally, i.e., without weight loss injections, saying: "I went to a nutritionist and I needed to get like my eating habits right." Despite including those remarks, the video goes on to speculate about the cause of her facial appearance, although of course nothing is confirmed.

While the mom-of-three does indeed get her fair share of criticism, the comments in the video were largely positive.
"My gosh... she is beautiful inside and out. Leave her alone!" exclaimed one fan in her defense. "She has always been beautiful. Maybe some overdone lip injections but she's always had a natural beauty missy would love to have. Good for her!" concurred a second.
"Jess is great," agreed a third as a fourth echoed: "I think she is still beautiful and I wish her the very best." "Wow people don't age," said a fifth, in reference to her ageless appearance.
