It’s been cool and rainy here for the past 10 days, but next week’s forecast has temperatures climbing back toward 90 degrees. Summer is in full swing, and it looks like the heat is making a comeback. While I’m always grateful for a break from the humidity, I know those hot, sticky days are far from over. Suddenly I’m not just thinking about what clothes I want to wear, but how to actually make them work in real life when it’s 95 degrees and humid. At that point, staying chic, practical, and comfortable becomes the whole mission.

While we’re on the subject, “chic, practical, and comfortable” are all great adjectives to describes Reistor’s new summer collection. The timeless and eco-conscious brand’s latest drop is all about effortless summer dressing, with breathable natural fabrics, relaxed silhouettes, and versatile pieces designed for warm weather dressing. Fabrics made from hemp blends, soft organic cotton, and fluid Bemberg™ materials keep everything feeling light and airy… which is a must when you’re sweating on some metal bleachers at your kid’s soccer game in the middle of July. Plus, the earthy neutrals and understated prints also make everything easy to mix and match with pieces you already own.

Overall, the whole collection feels thoughtful and easy to wear, with versatile pieces that won’t feel dated after a single season. Here are just a few of the new styles I’m loving—I have a feeling you’ll want to wear them all summer long.

Smocked Short Dress in Blue Stripes ($135)

Cheerful, summery, and comfy? This blue striped dress checks all the boxes. Thanks to the smocked bodice, it has a stretchy fit that’s actually forgiving to wear, while the scoop neckline, gathered waist, and flared skirt keeps the silhouette flirty without feeling too fussy. Oh, and did I mention it has pockets?

But the real appeal here is the versatility. You could absolutely wear this dress with flats for brunch or running errands during the day, then switch to heels, bold makeup, and dangly earrings for dinners out. Plus, the lightweight 100% cotton fabric is ideal for sticky, humid days when you still want to look cute.

The Deep V Neck Top in Butter Lemon ($105)

You could probably wear this chic butter lemon top in a heatwave and still look/feel amazing. As a mom, I’m always looking for pieces I can comfortably wear out in the heat, and this one feels practical for summer days spent taking my daughter to the pool or picnicking outside on the weekends.

What I love most is that it’s light, airy, and floaty, but the deep V neckline and gently fitted waist prevent it from looking shapeless or oversized. Made from 100% linen, it’s exactly the kind of breezy top I’d reach for on repeat.

Gathered Maxi Dress in Stripes ($186)

I’m often a little cautious about stripes, but the vertical pattern on this maxi dress is so flattering—it actually helps elongate the silhouette. The drawstring waist also gives you shape without feeling restrictive.

Made from lightweight Bemberg™ fabric, this piece has a soft, breathable drape that’s perfect for when outdoor temperatures start making you sweat. It’s a rare dress you can truly wear anywhere: on a plane, out to dinner, walking around on vacation, or even just on an easy weekend afternoon with family.

Striped Linen Shorts ($90)

I love denim shorts as much as the next girl, but can we talk about how they’re not always the most comfortable option? And is it just me, or do they somehow always end up riding up when you’re walking around all day?

These striped linen shorts are the perfect alternative. They have the casual ease of my favorite summer shorts, but look so much more polished thanks to the relaxed fit, drawstring waist, and classic stripe pattern. They’re also far more breathable than traditional denim cutoffs thanks to the 100% linen fabric. Yes please!

Smocked Maxi Dress in Grey Check ($165)

It’s the little details that can make or break a dress, and this one gets them exactly right. I’m loving the embroidery on the hem and ruffles on the straps, which elevate the classic check pattern into something that feels really special.

The smocked bodice is comfy and flattering, and the flowing skirt keeps things easy and breezy. On hot days, the last thing I want to wear is something that clings or feels restrictive, and this dress looks like it’d keep you cool without sacrificing style. Whether you’re headed to brunch, on vacation, or just trying to survive a humid afternoon in style, it’s an easy win.

Maxi Gathered Dress with Side Slits in Stripes ($135)

If effortless summer dressing had a poster child, this would be it. Made from 100% organic cotton, this striped maxi dress is lightweight, breathable, and just the kind of piece you’ll reach for on hot days when you still want to look polished without trying too hard.

I love all the thoughtful details, too. The adjustable drawstring waist lets you customize the fit, while the V-neckline, frayed sleeves, side slits, and (yes!) pockets make it feel practical, too. Just add sandals and sunglasses, and you’re ready for the day ahead.

Embroidered Button Front Neck Top in Cream ($105)

Side slits for added airflow! V-neckline with buttons! All-over embroidery! Seriously, what’s not to love here? This is exactly the kind of top I love because it looks polished without requiring much thought on your end. Plus, the breathable 100% cotton fabric makes it especially practical for warm weather.

Pair it with denim shorts or white jeans for a casual afternoon, or dress it up with tailored pants for dinners out. The neutral cream color goes with most everything, which means you’ll get plenty of wear out of it.

With temperatures climbing, I’m officially entering the part of the year where getting dressed becomes a strategic exercise. Luckily, Reistor’s new summer collection proves that you don’t have to choose between looking cute and staying comfortable. If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be over here trying to narrow down my wishlist.
