Yesterday, Green Wedding Shoes treated us a GORGEOUS set of photos from the wedding of HGTV hottie Carter Oosterhouse and his actress squeeze Amy Smart. We broke the news of their wedding back in September, but these beautiful wedding photos have only just made their wedding blog debut!
Their super earth friendly celebration took place at the couple’s home in Traverse City, Michigan. Of course, they had to make a few changes to home, sweet home in order to accommodate their 220 guests – check out that fabulous outdoor bar made of reclaimed barnwood!
Carter and Amy were married by her yogi and his family priest. The bride wore a beautiful Carolina Herrera tiered, V-neck gown, and her bridesmaids wore a range of different Ann Taylor bridesmaid’s dresses in the same royal blue hue.
Just how eco-friendly was their wedding? The entire event only produced half a garbage bag of trash – everything else the couple used during their celebration was recyclable or compostable. #AMAZING
