The couple announced the news in a joint statement shared on social media, writing, "We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning. Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother."
Alec was born at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and he made history by marking the first time in over 150 years that a sitting vice president welcomed a child while in office. Though she and JD had a professional photoshoot with their newborn at their house, fans of the famous couple are happy to see a new snap of her since welcoming Alec, this time, posing for a photo with Fox News reporter, Laura Ingraham, after she interviewed her husband.
