Sofia Vergara put her signature sultry spin on classic suiting during press day at the TODAY show studios. The actress stepped out in a gray pantsuit — but with a bold twist.
Instead of a traditional blouse, she wore a strapless, buttoned mini vest, pairing it with coordinating pinstripe, wide-leg trousers for a modern, tailored look. She styled her brown hair down in a sleek center part, opted for soft matte glam, and accessorized with stacked gold bracelets and statement rings. See the look here.
The AGT host captioned the post, “The snow didnt stop us!! Press day in NYC,” referencing the snowstorm that hit the East Coast on Monday.

Sofia Vergara Flaunts Her Hourglass Figure In A Pantsuit
Sofia spoke about a variety of topics, including the upcoming 21st season of America’s Got Talent, her appearances in three Super Bowl commercials this year, and, more importantly, her mother’s experience with high blood pressure, which inspired her heart health mission to raise awareness about uACR tests that detect early kidney damage.
“I’m here because I’m on a mission,” she said, highlighting different health issues that affect the Latin community, such as diabetes. “There’s something very easy called uACR. It’s a urine test — it’s not a crazy thing where they have to put you under anesthesia or use a machine or anything. And you can detect if you’re having problems [such as] kidney disease, heart failure, or a stroke if you’re a person that has high blood pressure or diabetes.”
The Modern Family star went on to mention her mother, saying, “And my mother has been struggling with high blood pressure, and that’s one of the things that I do for her every year — make her get the [test].”

Sofia Vergara Raises Awareness For Urine Testing
Vergara appeared in two major 2026 Super Bowl commercials: a Boehringer Ingelheim ad titled “Mission: SOS” alongside Octavia Spencer, promoting uACR kidney screenings, and a Skechers spot showcasing their “Hands Free Slip-ins.” The kidney-focused ad emphasized health awareness, while the Skechers commercial took a humorous approach, showing Vergara tossing out old shoes.
In the Boehringer Ingelheim campaign, Vergara and Spencer played agents working to raise awareness about chronic kidney disease, highlighting that a simple urine test (uACR) can detect early risks.
The mother of one was asked by the hosts what lessons she’s learned while caring for her mom. She joked, “That it’s a nightmare because as they get older they get a little stubborn. So I have to force her, and things like she has high blood pressure—it doesn’t really give you a lot of symptoms. You can get kidney failure, and it’s hard because when you don’t feel sick, you have to force her to go to the hospital or get tested. So it’s been a struggle; she’s very stubborn.”
But she added, “I try to control what she’s doing, and her blood pressure is better.”
