Serena Williams has been facing a fair amount of backlash for using a GLP-1 to aid her recent weight loss, but she recently shared a video to remind fans she’s still got it.
The tennis pro recently stunned her followers and other social media users by sharing a video of herself dancing at the Cardi B concert in Atlanta, flaunting not only her impressive, sultry moves, but her weight loss as well. She’s been receiving a lot of mixed reactions to her slimming down, more recently getting some backlash for utilizing a GLP-1 medication and partnering with Ro to shed some excess pounds. Serena Williams Posts Video Of Herself Dancing At A Cardi B Show
Cardi B, the famous rapper and media personality, just finished her 2026 “Little Miss Drama” tour, which had a handful of big names stepping out to dance in the crowd. One of whom was the tennis champion and mom-of-two, Serena.
The gold medalist attended one of Cardi’s last shows during her tour’s Atlanta leg, sitting in a special VIP area with family and friends. Though crowd members didn’t get much footage of her that night, she boldly posted a video of her dancing on top of a chair in her VIP box, twerking in a leopard-patterned mini dress, laughing and having a good time.
“There are 2 types of people at a @iamcardib concert,” she wrote in her Instagram video caption, referring to her group of friends. “The ones that dance @angelameadowssalon and the ones that don’t @planetolivia.”
Serena was clearly the friend who danced, clapping along as she moved to an instrumental portion of the show, as her friends laughed and cheered her on.

Fans React To Serena's Video & Appearance Amid GLP-1 Backlash
Although she still has a large following of loyal fans and supporters, the athlete was under fire over the last few months, after her latest business partnership and Super Bowl commercial.
Following months of posting pictures of her slimmed-down yet muscular figure and talking about how she was working hard to lose excess baby weight after having her daughter last year, Serena admitted to using the GLP-1 medication Zepbound. Then, during last year's Super Bowl, she starred in a commercial for the weight loss medication-selling brand, Ro. Lots of controversy stirred up after it was revealed that her husband, Alexis Ohanian, was an investor in Ro and sits on the company's board.
Many social media users began discrediting her weight loss, believing the situation was rigged and calling her "problematic." However, once the mom-of-two shared her Cardi B video, proving she's still silly and likes to have fun, as well as that she hasn't lost weight in all areas, she won some hearts back.
"That's the Ro commercial we all want!" joked a follower under her video.
