North West took the stage alongside her dad Kanye West during his first Los Angeles concert since 2021, performing their two collaborations together.
For the moment, the 12-year-old rocked her signature blue hair styled in two long pigtails. She wore an all-black, oversized outfit featuring cargo pants, a long-sleeve top with a bold white star, and black-and-white sneakers.
She accessorized with chunky sunglasses, studded bracelets, a skull chain necklace, and blue teeth grills. Ye, meanwhile, kept things minimal in a gray ensemble paired with black leather combat boots.

North West Rock Blue Hair And Baggy Outfit At Ye’s Concert
In front of more than 70K attendees, North joined her dad to perform their songs “Talking” and “Piercing On My Hand” during his concert at SoFi Stadium on April 1. At one point, the father-daughter duo stood atop a giant globe prop as North delivered her lines, while Kanye looked out over the crowd.
While the live audience appeared excited—and Kanye seemed proud—reactions online were far more mixed. Some fans criticized her vocals, while others expressed concern about her performing on such a massive stage at a young age.
“That poor kid is going to be a M E S S,” one person wrote on Instagram. Another added, “Wild. Imagine her perception of life and the world.” Someone else commented, “And I thought the lion king debacle was as low as she could go,” referring to North’s performance as Simba in The Lion King 30th Anniversary concert in 2024.
“North don’t have talent,” one user wrote, while another said, “Give this girl singing lessons.” Others added, “Auto Tune at it’s best,” “Why you make a kid famous?” and “I can’t imagine what this child thinks is ‘NORMAL’. Living life from her perspective.”
More critical comments followed, including, “This is beyond tasteless, no talent, garbage. Who pays to see this?” and “Don’t understand how people can get excited for this.”

North West Claps Back At Haters In Recent Song
North has faced significant backlash ever since stepping into the spotlight. She first sparked controversy over her finger piercings, followed by criticism of her blue hair, and later her move into the music industry after signing a deal with the label Gamma.
Her mom, Kim Kardashian, has remained supportive throughout. Just last month, she was spotted leaving a music studio after midnight with her daughter, signaling that North is continuing to pursue her music career. Her upcoming album, Elementary School Dropout, is a clear nod to her dad’s iconic album The College Dropout.
North also addressed the criticism directly in her song “Piercing On My Hand,” rapping:
“All my songs are hits, you know I'm not lazy (North)
You are so angry that I'm so mainstream
Dissed her once, now she wanna replace me
You can never faze me, just erase me
Talkin' a lot lately, I'm not your opp, crazy
I want more piercings and tats
I love blue hair, put it in some plaits”
