Although she’s taken a step back from politics, Michelle Obama is proving she certainly isn’t afraid to criticise Donald Trump. However, this time, there were a large number of people who didn’t like what she had to say.
The former first lady recently faced some backlash online after reflecting on her and her husband Barack Obama’s days in the White House. On her viral podcast, she stated that there was “no way” her family would’ve been able to get away with the same behavior the current president and his administration have been exhibiting, especially due to them being the “first Black family” in the White House. Later, people accused her of complaining and more. Continue reading about the situation below.

Michelle Obama Says There Is 'No Way' Her Family Would Be Able To Exhibit Donald Trump's Behavior In The White House
One of today's most talked-about podcasts happens to be In My Opinion, which is hosted by the Becoming author and her brother, Craig Robinson. The two talk about a variety of personal topics while interviewing guest celebrities or experts, and with every episode, she's opened up about her life in and out of the White House.
In one of the latest episodes, Michelle and Craig spoke to famous comedian and show host Conan O'Brien, who reflected on the Obama administration and how they behaved while living in the White House, handling official matters, and dealing with the press. At one point, he said he noticed they were "being so careful that everything is done by the book."
"It wasn't even a feeling; it was the truth," Michelle responded. "I mean, there's absolutely no way that the behavior in this current administration would have been accepted by the first Black family in the White House. So, fortunately, it wasn't difficult to do because we are those people. It wasn't difficult to follow rules; it wasn't difficult to have high standards. It wasn't very difficult, because in order to get where we are, as you've seen in your mother, you don't get here without being damn near perfect."

Social Media Users Slam Michelle's Comments
After the episode was released, there were a lot of moments in it that went viral. However, the mom-of-two's comments on not being able to get away with the same things as the Trump administration struck a nerve with the president's supporters.
On social media platforms like X, a number of users criticized Michelle and accused her of "lying" and suggested that her remarks on her time as First Lady were irrelevant.
"Lies as usual," wrote an X user.
"No one cares, Michelle," responded another. "You're not in the White House anymore."
"All she ever does is complain," added a user.
The best-selling author has yet to acknowledge the internet's response to what she had to say on her podcast, but it seems that there are still those ready to critique her and her husband's memories of being in the White House.
