Halloween is here, and Melania Trump, alongside husband Donald Trump, is celebrating at the White House.
As part of their annual White House Halloween tradition, the president and first lady stood outside the White House yesterday to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. It’s been a beloved tradition in U.S. history for years, and the first lady was dressed in a chic fall look as she handed out candy to little ones, which included a brown jacket with festive orange accents. Read more about the event and what she had to wear below.

Melania Trump Wears A Chic Fall Outfit While Giving Candy To Trick Or Treaters At The White House
Every Halloween or Halloween Eve, it's customary for the President of the United States and the First Lady to stand outside the White House, greet, and give out candy to some lucky trick-or-treaters who line up in costumes to meet the leaders. It's a special opportunity for America's youth to have an interaction with the president, and for the biggest names in America to continue taking part in the seasonal tradition.
This year marked the first Halloween back in the White House for the Trumps since Donald was re-elected for a second term. While neither he nor Melania wore costumes, the first lady opted for a seasonal outfit instead. She wore a light brown trench coat that she left buttoned up. The coat had a bright orange zipper, adding a little extra festivity to the look. It also had a belt, which was tied and cinched her waist, and paired the coat with a skirt, which was hidden underneath, and a simple pair of heels.

The Internet Reacts To Melania's Trick Or Treating Look
Since the event happened yesterday, everyone woke up to pictures and footage from the festivities today, and got to get a good look at the Slovenian native's outfit for the special occasion. This year, her fashion and style have been getting a lot of extra attention, as she's seemingly taken a bit more of a back seat so far during her husband's second term as president, and the public doesn't get to see her all that often.
Therefore, once pictures of her trick-or-treating look were shared on social media, fans and other internet users began weighing in on her "classy" look.
"Beautiful First Lady," wrote a fan on Instagram, as another called the look "fantastic."
"Melania loves kids, you can see that when she is around them," added another with a heart emoji.
"So cute!" wrote another.
We'll be curious to see if any other Halloween-themed outfits pop up for the first lady this year, but for now, fans of hers are happy to know that she was around for the coveted trick-or-treating.
